On June 1^st and 2^nd ,Heng Ee High School Chinese Orchestra took part in the 8^th National Chinese Orchestral Spring Competition which was held yearly in the Dewan Sri Pinang.

2016年6月1日和2日，我校华乐团参加了在槟州大会堂举行的第8届春蕾国际赛。

On June 1^st , the chinese orchestra percussion section took part in the percussion ensemble competition with their musical piece The Legend of Genghis Khan. The ferocious ensemble appalled the judges and managed to win the Gold with Honors award.

恒中华乐团敲击组在6月1日以《蒙古苍狼•成吉思汗》这首自创曲荣获荣誉金奖。

In the afternoon, the newbies of the orchestra which was divided into 2 groups, took part in the Orchestra Competition 2^nd Division. Even though the juniors were inexperienced, they still managed to win 2 bronze awards.

而当天下午是乙组华乐演奏比赛，本团共派出两队中一团员赴赛。虽然上台演奏经验不多，团员们却全力以赴，各队都以《少年黄飞鸿》获得佳绩—-铜奖。

On Jun 2^nd, the seniors of the orchestra took part in the Orchestra Competition 1^st division, where various strong schools will send their best student orchestras to take part in. With the musical piece, the Yangge Symphony and The Classic of Mountains and Seas, HengEe High School Chinese Orchestra managed to wow the judges and won 1 Gold award, 1 Gold with Honors award and the Best Student Conductor Prize.

6月2日是甲组华乐演奏比赛，由中二至中五的团员组成两队参赛。第一队以《弦上秧歌》荣获荣誉金奖，而指挥谢颖慧同学也夺下了最佳学生指挥奖。另一队的《山海印象》在指挥—-黄敦翌同学的带领下荣获金奖。
